This was a new-build site, a bare plot except for the house. The client wanted an organic feel to the garden, not too many straight lines. A curved drive and gravel paths achieve this. Also requested were a large patio, pergola and fire-pit for entertaining. A small lawn with a simple planting plan containing drought tolerant plants along with trees for shade and privacy complete the garden. The busy client has a garden that should mostly take care of itself with the minimum of maintenance.
